Action for wrongful death in the district court for Ramsey county by the special administrator of the estate of Andrew J. Stander, claimed to have been caused by an attack made upon decedent by the defendant Doyle in the barroom of the establishment operated by the defendant Blanchett Investment Company. The case was tried before John W. Boerner, Judge, and a jury. At the close of plaintiffs case, the court directed a verdict for the company, and the jury returned a verdict of $2,578.60 for plaintiff against the defendant Doyle. From the judgment entered after denial of plaintiffs motion for a new trial as to the company, plaintiff appealed.
